Participation and living costs
Participation cost
The participation cost per year is €8,000 for Category A students and €4,000 for Category B students. The participation cost is the same irrespective of study track/institution.
The participation cost covers: the matriculation at two host universities, the cost of training where applicaple, the cost of the introductory weeks, the cost of local language courses, administrative costs of the Master’s course, other organisational costs, travel and subsistence costs to the two-week Joint Summer Module.
Not included are: travel costs to first and second year institutions, travel and other costs for thesis fieldwork. travel and subsistence costs to the two-week Joint Summer Module.
Your local SUFONAMA academic contact person will inform you of any such expenses.
The annual participation cost is withdrawn from the SUFONAMA scholarship every year in August as stated in the Student Agreement. Students without an Erasmus Mundus scholarship will receive invoices to be paid in August every year.
Living costs
Living expences will of course vary according to personal requirements and the place you live. The following budgets are general indications as to minimum costs per month:
